Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha, Sunny Nijar, Bollywood 2018

"SONU KE TITU KI SWEETY” - 23 February 2018

It’s time for some comic bromance again. Coming from the makers of ‘Pyaar Ka Panchnamma’ and ‘Pyaar ka Panchnamma 2’, this film with a mouthful of a title is sounds like that one time trip to the theatre. Luv Ranjan’s latest film takes the idea of Pyaar ka Panchnamma series a step further. This time at least one friend (Sonu) seems to have wisened up to the ways of wily women and will not allow his gullible buddy (Titu) to fall into the trap of a girl (Sweety) who claims to be ‘perfect’. But will Sonu himself remain unaffected by Sweety’s charms remains to be checked out! Kahani mein twist lagta hai.

Directed by: Luv Ranjan; Produced by: Luv Films; Cast: Nushrat Bharucha, Kartik Aaryan, Sunny Singh Nijjar & Deepika Amin

Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz, Geetanjali Thapa, Zain Khan Durrani, Shray Rai Tiwari, 2018, Romance

"KUCHH BHEEGE ALFAAZ" - 16 February 2018

The film carries its tagline as a ‘Whatsapp Kinda Romance’. With overtones that appear reminiscent of Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan starrer ‘You’ve Got Mail’ (from the late 1990s) but set in modern day setting of social media and Whatsapp, the film takes a deeper look at insecurities of the protagonists played by debutant Zain Khan Durrani (as RJ Alfaaz) and Geetanjali Thapa his ardent listener who falls in love with his voice and poetry. Both hesitate to reveal their true selves lest they not be accepted by the other.

Directed by: Onir; Produced by; Yoodlee Films; Cast: Geetanjali Thapa, Zain Khan Durrani, Shray Rai Tiwari, Mona Ambegaonkar & Chandrayee Ghosh

Welcome To New Work, Sonakshi Sinha, Diljit Dosanjh, Karan Johar, Boman Irani, Sushnat Singh Rajput, 2018, Bollywood

"WELCOME TO NEW YORK” - 23 February 2018

Produced by WIZ Films, this one promises to be fun filled. Set against the backdrop of the popular film awards IIFA, the movie stars Diljit Dosanjh as an irrepressibly funny guy who has some great dialogues to boot; it also features Riteish Deshmukh and Karan Johar as themselves and anchors for the Award Nite. But look out for the twist in Karan Johar’s character. Looks and feels like a hit!
